it will at some point of time but not in this months bulletin or in the near future. Folks , for someone with March 2004 Eb3 India PD , is converting to Eb2 really going to help in any way at all ? Please suggest.

I guess it is an approval. In the cases where officer needs an approval from senior officer they issue N-652. That is standard practice.

That could explain why NSC never got the memo. Remember only EB I-485 is in question.

Today, I spoke to a USCI Agent and his supervisor at NSC about my case..
I quizzed them about July 2007 revised visa bulletin etc.
He looked around, checked it for like 10 minutes and said HE DOESN'T HAVE
ANY MEMO. All he said that he has this MEMO which states that July 2007 (original) bulletin ..based on that EB1-3 for all countries are current.
:-) May be NSC approves application :-) as practically NO ONE can stop them..
Again this is based on my call to actual live human being at NSC..
I doubt this very much to be true...in case it is.. USCIS has a big problem in their hands.. they really need to clean up the house.. before the shi** hits the roof..

This proves that the faxes sent via the webfax features are actually reaching the senators. I received a reply from Senator Specter's office too.
As far as the content of the replies goes, this proves again that to a lot of lawmakers, immigration = ILLEGAL immigration. It is upto us to educate them of our plight too.
Wam4Wam, can you call up your senator's office and speak to the immigration liaision? Explain to him that when you sent the fax to them, you had asked for considering pro immigrant legislation for legal immigrants.
You can ask the liaision for a meeting too. We have all the necessary resources you need for such a meeting on our resources website. The CA team has been successfully using these resources. And please update this thread too so that others may learn from you

Seriously, if other states follow Arizona, it becomes a pressing issue and whether Obama or Congress has the appetite or not, they have to learn to deal with it. Can't let the Arizona law go viral.
One of the biggest complaint that AZ is making is that the federal government is not addressing the border problem.........well, the federal govt has to wake up and start addressing immigration reform on the whole .......... as so many sections of the immigration system is broken.
In conclusion, the mood and environment sets the stage. We have one. Got to take advantage of it.

Yep..not to worry..just go there on the date of appt..they'll just ask you to come back when the finger heals...I cut my finger...officer made a notation on my form and asked me to come when it heals..I went after a month and got it done
DO they tell you to reschedule the appointment or just ask you to come with FP notice by doing walk-in after it heals. Also do they put a note in their system that you could not give the FP because of so and so reason. Also anyone knows what Boston ASC does , whether they permit walk-ins during the week.
